Job Responsibilities
The Family Law Staff Attorney who reports to both the director and supervisor of family law services, is responsible for the following:

Job Description Gerber Ciano Kelly Brady is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Labor Law attorney. The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience in defense litigation, including at least 2 years of experience handling New York State Labor Law claims, and exposure to insurance coverage disputes.
This position requires a high level of motivation, flexibility, initiative, and the ability to independently manage assignments from inception through completion. The ideal candidate should demonstrate exceptional judgment, strong and professional communication skills, and a polished writing style. The attorney will collaborate with attorneys and support matters across the firm’s footprint. Responsibilities include:
<ul>
<li>Managing an assigned litigation caseload independently and with supervision, as appropriate.</li>
<li>Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery demands, and other litigation-related filings.</li>
<li>Handling depositions, court appearances, and motion practice.</li>
<li>Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis.</li>
<li>Representing clients in insurance defense and New York Labor Law matters, including claims arising under Labor Law §§ 200, 240, and 241(6).</li>
<li>Maintaining strong client relationships through responsiveness and adherence to client guidelines.</li>
<li>Managing deadlines and ensuring all procedural and court requirements are met.</li>
<li>Accurately recording and maintaining billable hours.</li>
</ul>
Required Skills/Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Admission to practice in the State of New York is required (Admission to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and/or Connecticut is a plus).</li>
<li>2–5 years of experience in defense litigation.</li>
<li>At least 2 years of experience handling New York State Labor Law litigation, including familiarity with the Industrial Code Rules.</li>
<li>Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills, with a commitment to producing high-quality, error-free work.</li>
<li>Federal Court experience is a plus.</li>

Compensation and Benefits: Salary is commensurate with experience and skill set. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance, 401(k), flexible work options, and paid time off.
For New York City Applicants: Salary range: $35.00–$70.00/hour ($72,800.00–$145,600.00), plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

A busy and successful plaintiff’s personal injury law firm in South Brooklyn is looking for a part-time and highly organized Calendar Clerk to join their team.

Key responsibilities include:
· Managing the firm’s daily and weekly court calendar, which includes appearances, conferences, per diem attorneys etc.
· Scheduling and confirming depositions, court reporters, and translators.
· Coordinating client/witness attendance for depositions, doctor appointments, and exams.
· Updating and maintaining the firm’s internal case management system.
· Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to facilitate all of the above
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20-24 P/H
