Responsibilities:
The Technology Investment Banking group at Cantor consists of approximately 50 bankers, and over the past year has successfully executed 100+ transactions across M&A advisory, equity and debt capital markets. Analysts will work on assignments across sub-verticals within the Technology sector, including M&A advisory, equity and debt capital markets. Lean transaction teams allow our Analysts a strong learning platform and assume high levels of responsibility at early stages of their careers. Candidates must have a strong interest in investment banking with solid quantitative and analytical skills, as well the ability to think broadly about a range of strategic issues confronting the firms clients. Knowledge of accounting, valuation, finance, and business strategy is a must. Responsibilities for an Analyst include performing financial and valuation analysis, resolving complex financial and accounting issues, advanced modeling, credit analysis, due diligence, drafting client presentation materials, execution of live transactions, and assistance with new business development.
Coordination of various processes, including capital raises and advisory transactions
Preparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clients
Perform research and various analyses in support of new business generation
Organize and participate in marketing and client meetings
Leading and participating in drafting sessions for underwriting assignments
Conducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactions
Interact with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankers
Qualifications:
Relevant internship experience/ less than 2 year of experience in Equity Research, Accounting Deal Advisory, Consulting, Commercial Banking, etc
Self-motivated individuals who display initiative, drive, and leadership
Excellent grasp of corporate finance, valuation, and financial accounting
Strong communications skills, both written and oral
Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5/4.0
Educational Qualifications:
Undergraduate degree from a top-tier school
Graduation date between December 2024- June 2025 or before
Salary: $100,000 - $110,000
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $110,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
