2025 Summer Internship Program
IPRO’s 2025 Summer Internship Program is an eight-week experience for college students to gain invaluable hands-on work experience in a dynamic environment that is aligned with their academic interests. We are looking for individuals interested in gaining exposure, practical experience and insight into a multifaceted nonprofit healthcare organization. This exciting internship opportunity will take place from June 2, 2025 - July 25, 2025, on site in Lake Success, NY.
WHO WE ARE
IPRO is a non-profit organization that works with government agencies, providers, and patients to implement innovative programs that bring policy ideas to life. IPRO makes creative use of clinical expertise, emerging technology, and data solutions to make the healthcare system work better. IPRO holds contracts with federal, state, and local government agencies, as well as private-sector clients, in more than 33 states and the District of Columbia.
End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network
IPRO is seeking an Intern for its End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network Program. The mission of the End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) Network Program is to promote health care for all ESRD patients that is safe, effective, efficient, patient-centered, timely, and equitable. IPRO operates four of the 18 ESRD networks, Network 1 (New England), Network 2 (New York), Network 6 (South Atlantic) and Network 9 (Ohio River Valley).
The goals of this summer internship is to focus on various aspects of patient services to build career related skills in the following areas:
- Case management interviewing
- Case documentation requirements and procedures for grievances
- Emergency Management for the ESRD community
Required Criteria
The intern must be a college level student (undergraduate or graduate).
The hourly pay for hires for our 2025 internship opening is $16.50.
