Adecco is recruiting for a Pool and Spa Service Technician for a client in Syracuse, NY. This is a direct-hire opportunity paying $17-23/hour, depending on experience.
Job Summary:
Are you an experienced pool and spa technician looking for your next opportunity? Do you have a strong background in pool maintenance, repairs, and customer service? If so, we want you to join our team as a Pool and Spa Service Technician! We are looking for dedicated and skilled professionals to support our high-volume service and repair business in Central New York.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform pool and spa openings and closings, ensuring proper preparation for seasonal changes.

Provide weekly pool cleaning and maintenance services, keeping pools in pristine condition for customers.

Repair and maintain pool plumbing, heaters, filters, pumps, and other related systems.

Balance and monitor pool water chemistry to ensure safe and optimal conditions for swimming.

Assist with troubleshooting and resolving pool equipment issues promptly and efficiently.

Track all service supplies, equipment, and tools, ensuring proper inventory management.

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment at all times.

Interact with customers directly in the field, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns.

Occasionally assist with sales and upgrades of existing equipment based on customer needs.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Previous experience in pool cleaning, maintenance, or repair preferred, but not required—training will be provided.

Strong familiarity with pool service tools, equipment, and maintenance techniques.

Ability to handle physical work, including lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.

Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively.

Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Customer service-oriented, with strong communication skills.

Availability to work overtime as needed, including Saturdays.

Pay Details: $17.00 to $23.00 per hour
