Job DescriptionSalary: $21 - $27

Position Overview

The Yard Helper will assist in the daily operations of our heavy equipment service yard. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized yard, assisting mechanics, loading and unloading equipment, and ensuring tools and materials are properly stored. This role is essential in keeping our operations running smoothly and safely.

Responsibilities

Assist in organizing and maintaining the yard, ensuring it is clean and free of hazards.

Help load and unload equipment, tools, and materials.

Perform basic maintenance and cleaning of equipment and tools.

Support the Small Tools Department with incoming and outgoing equipment, as well as perform basic repairs on items such as inventory trailers, generators, light towers, message boards, compressors, and other related equipment.

Support mechanics and technicians with various tasks as needed.

Inspect and report any damages or safety hazards.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Assist with inventory management of parts and supplies.

Experience & Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a yard, warehouse, or construction setting is a plus.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions.

Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in heavy equipment services.

Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.

Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities
