Job Details:
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and collaborative Permanent Civil Engineer to join our team in the Construction industry. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from municipal infrastructure to water treatment facilities. The successful candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, challenging environment, and enjoys working on a variety of tasks. This position is a full-time, permanent role that requires 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
1. Design, plan, and supervise construction projects including but not limited to, roadways, storm water management systems, and water treatment facilities.
2. Utilize CADD software for designing and drafting project plans.
3. Perform topo surveying and bulkheading tasks as required.
4. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering professionals to ensure project success.
5. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and project specifications.
6. Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to engineering standards and specifications.
7. Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.
8. Address and resolve issues that arise during the construction process.
9. Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, ensuring adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
2. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering within the construction industry.
4. Proficiency in CADD software.
5. Extensive experience in municipal projects, DSDC, storm water management, roadway design, bulkheading, topo surveying, water treatment, and waste water.
6. Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
9. Excellent leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
