Job Description

As a Grant Writer, you will play a critical role in identifying funding opportunities, developing proposal materials, and maintaining relationships with funders. Your expertise will help ensure the growth and sustainability of our programs and services.


This job is in person not remote.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and identify prospective grant funding sources from government agencies, foundations, and other organizations.
  • Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information and data for proposals and reports.
  • Maintain a calendar of upcoming grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential funders.
  • Monitor and track grant outcomes and report on results.
  • Assist with grant-related meetings and presentations to board members and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on trends in grant writing and nonprofit funding.



  • 5+ years of experience in grant writing
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Nonprofit Management, or related field.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and a track record of successful proposals.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of the Jewish community and an understanding of its values is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.


We offer a full benefits package.

Salary Range: $70,000-$80,000 Annually



Compensation details: 70000-80000 Yearly Salary
