Colton RV & Marine is seeking a Back Parts Inventory Specialist, based out of our North Tonawanda, NY, Dealership. In this position, you are tasked with ensuring customers are set for success and on the path to their ideal camping experience. You get to work with our RV Technicians to assist in servicing RVs/Campers and outfit them with accessories to help make their experience more enjoyable. The workdays are fast-paced.

Your accountabilities include:
- Assists all customers (retail and shop) in selecting required parts in a friendly, professional and efficient manner.
- Informs customers of companion part requirements and specials and ensures that the customer is exposed to the full product line.
- Answers phone calls, providing price quotes and other information.
- Provides high level of service to internal and external customers.
- Pulls and fills orders from stock.
- Notifies parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Notifies the service advisor and the customer when special ordered parts have been received.
- Notifies the technician when all parts have arrived and when they will be delivered.
- Pulls orders for delivery to designated person, making sure all parts are tagged with customer names and job number.
- Follows up on back-ordered parts.
- Verifies will-call and back-order files weekly and returns to vendors, or stocks those items not picked up or required.
- Assists outside sales representatives with their orders.
- Makes sure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair order.
- Receives payment from retail customers or obtains credit authorization.
- Ensures that all charge sales are signed by the customer.
- Ensures that all customers receive their copy of the invoice.
- Issues and tracks requested shop tools to technicians.
- Keeps orderly records of all repair orders, invoices, insurance estimates and special-order parts.
- Sets up orders for daily shipment, delivery or pick-up.
- Keeps front and rear counter areas clean and uncluttered.
- Keeps current on new products and product updates.
- Participates with the parts manager in maintaining a lost sales tracking program.
- Maintains professional appearance.
- Other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
Education, Experience and Work Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills, required
- Basic business math skills, required
- Excellent telephone manner and customer service ability
- RV experience and knowledge, a plus
- Previous experience in a Dealership or Auto Parts Retail Store, preferred
- Ability to communicate with customers and coworkers clearly and effectively
- Motivated and self-driven individuals with a positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Maintain focus and organization
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to learn new products and skills and be able to effectively explain to customers
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible schedules as needed
- Ability to pass Background Check/ Drug Screen
- Must have/maintain license and clean driving record
