THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-oriented Integrated Marketing Lead to drive our EBONY brand and client’s marketing initiatives across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and executing comprehensive, integrated marketing strategies that span across digital (Social, Website, Newsletter, dotcom), experiential marketing and PR efforts. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical thinking, and expert cross functional collaboration and leadership skills to optimize brand messaging, increase audience size, audience engagement, and support profitability business growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategy Development & Execution:

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives of clients and Ebony’s brand positioning.

  • Lead team in the development and execution of profit driving EBONY owned franchises marketing programs including EBONY Power 100.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Ad-Op, Creative, Content, Analytics) to ensure a cohesive and effective marketing approach.

  • Manage and optimize marketing budgets, allocating resources effectively to maximize profitability and ROI across all channels.

Client Relationship Management:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met and their brand objectives are achieved through tailored marketing solutions.

  • Act as the primary Integrated Marketing point of contact for high-value clients, guiding them through every stage of the campaign development process from ideation to execution.

  • Provide consultative advice on brand strategy, marketing trends, and creative execution to help clients optimize their media investments.

Campaign Management:

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple platforms including digital, social media, email, PR, events, and paid media.

  • Ensure all campaigns align with brand guidelines and maintain a consistent voice and messaging across all touchpoints.

  • Lead the creation of creative briefs with internal teams and/or agencies to produce compelling, high-quality integrated campaign for advertising clients and EBONY owned franchise programs.

Digital & Traditional Marketing Integration:

  • Drive the seamless integration of digital marketing efforts, ensuring consistent messaging and engagement.

  • Leverage data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, track KPIs, and adjust improve performance and achieve business goals.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing cross functional EBONY team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Work closely with production, sales, ad-ops, creative, clients, finance, analytics, to align marketing initiatives with overall business goals.

  • Serve as a thought leader, staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging marketing technologies.

Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth:

  • Drive new business opportunities by identifying and pursuing new client relationships, upselling to existing clients, and helping to grow the Brand Solutions portfolio.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to pitch media solutions to prospective clients, including the development of sales presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring a mutually beneficial relationship while maintaining company revenue and margin targets.

Budget & P&L Management:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve RFP & franchise financial targets and maximize profitability.

  • Support the creation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, ensuring alignment with overall organizational goals.

  • Identify and implement opportunities to drive revenue growth and optimize operational efficiencies.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership on marketing performance, audience engagement, and growth opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in integrated marketing at a media agency servicing both internal and external client needs, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, from strategy to execution.

  • Experience in both B2B and B2C marketing.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, content marketing, etc.) and traditional marketing channels (Events, PR, etc.).

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience using marketing automation, CRM tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce).

  • Creative thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
