Overview
We seek a passionate and skilled Martial Arts Instructor to join our dynamic team. IsshinRyu Karate Style preferred. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in martial arts, with the ability to educate and inspire students of all ages. This role involves teaching various martial arts disciplines, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive learning environment. If you have experience in behavior management and enjoy working in a health club or gym setting, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities

• Educate students on the fundamentals of martial arts, including techniques, forms, and self-defense strategies.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to different skill levels and age groups.
• Conduct engaging classes that promote physical fitness, discipline, and respect among students.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
• Maintain a safe training environment by enforcing safety rules and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other instructors to organize events such as tournaments or demonstrations.
• Encourage teamwork and camaraderie among students through group activities and challenges.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in martial arts and participate in ongoing professional development.

Requirements

• Proven experience in martial arts; certifications in Taekwondo or other disciplines are preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate effectively.
• Experience in behavior management techniques to handle diverse student needs.
• Ability to work in a preK environment
• Previous coach is a plus but not required.
• Enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students of all ages.
