Job DescriptionDesktop Support Analyst (II)
Location: Hybrid (3 days on site) in White Plains NY paying $25-30/hr
Job Summary: As a Desktop Support Analyst (II), you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end-users on a wide range of computer hardware and software issues. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the productivity and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:- Diagnose and resolve technical problems with desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripheral devices- Provide end-user training and support on the use of various software applications- Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of IT assets- Collaborate with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve existing systems- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support as needed
Qualifications:- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a desktop support or help desk role- Strong technical skills in computer hardware, software, and networking- Proficiency in troubleshooting and problem-solving- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+) preferred- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
Working Conditions:- Standard office environment with occasional travel to end-user locations- Regular business hours, with the possibility of occasional after-hours support
