Key Responsibilities:
- Educate renters and users on our equipment's proper operation and safety features.
- Assess the condition of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Clean and maintain equipment before it enters the shop, after it returns from rental, and while it is in the yard.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of equipment.
- Organize and maintain the equipment yard.
- Perform general upkeep of the equipment yard, including snow removal.
- Carry out additional tasks as assigned.
- Adhere to company safety standards and ensure compliance with established procedures.
Working Conditions:
- Most duties will be performed outdoors.
- Ability to stand for extended periods is required.
- Potential exposure to various chemicals, including gasoline, diesel fuel, propane, kerosene, and cleaning solvents.
Education, Skills & Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Capability to lift and move approximately 50-70 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in the equipment rental industry is a plus.
- A customer service-oriented mindset.
