Back-End Developer, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites through the US (Up to 100% telecommuting permitted): Develop and test software features for cloud's fabric offerings. Create, and design documentation, such as functional programming specifications and high-level design documents to implement the identified new feature components. Monitor whether the implemented components are unit tested and ready to be integrated into the product. Provide fixes to defects identified during the software development life cycle. Attend daily scrums reporting progress on assigned work items and identify root cause, develop fixes, and support production customer issues opened daily. Create and review documentation for new features being developed. Keep Github updated with accuracy of Stories/Epics/or defects assigned. Meet daily with sub-team to interlock on open questions, and design. Develop code for defects, new features, or process improvement tools assigned. Automate the provisioning and configuration of the cloud's fabric. Develop RESTful APIs (Representational State Transfer Application Programming Interface). Develop code in Python, Java and Ansible for new fabric offerings. Write Unit test plans and perform unit testing. Develop content and deliver presentations to senior management. Utilize: Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Ansible, Linux and Helm. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or related (employer will accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of progressive experience in lieu of a Master's degree) and one (1) year of experience as a Software Developer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Kubernetes, Docker, Python, Ansible, Linux and Helm. $179982 to $202500 per year. Please send resumes to recruitad@us.ibm.com.
