Data Center Technician (Entry-Level / Lift & Shift)

We are looking for Jr labor for manual lift and shift work at Hempstead NY for dispatch work at Data center.
- Lift and shift, Rack and stack, Stagging, pre-config, labeling and shipping network devices
- Ability to move heavy items of up to 200lbs using pallet jacks
- Ability to move routers and switches up to 50lbs between rooms and floors
- Experience working in cross-functional project teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite and/or GSuite
- Understanding of ITSM process
- Data center and LAB related activities
- Manage ongoing device inventory and utilize client's tracking tools (Smartsheets and dcTrack)
- Oversee shipments inbound and outbound either from suppliers or internal Client locations
- Align with network build pre-staging schedules to assure network devices are on console and ready for pre-configuration
- Complete any pre-staging setup, such as loading standard operating systems, base configurations or leveraging Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) tools
