Equinox Holdings, Inc. seeks Lead Engr, Enterprise Arch (NY, NY) to: Dvlp containerized micro svcs & cmplx web apps/solutions for EA sys; Ensuring org standards for dsgn, architecture, coding & tooling; Lead dsgn & solution of major initiatives, cndct code reviews & pair prgmng, & mentoring/supervising team output. Telecomm: 1 remote flex day per wk w/in commuting distance of NYC office. REQ: BS in CompSci/Info Sys, Comp/Electronic/Elec Engr, or rltd tech discipline & 5 yrs prog post-Bachelor’s exp. as Analyst/Dev/Eng. or similar role designing/developing Java-based s/w (will accept Master’s deg in stated fields & 3 yrs exp. designing/developing Java-based s/w); Exp. must incl 3 yrs: Dsgn & implmnt Spring-based microservices using open source frameworks, incl. Spring boot, Spring REST, Spring Security; ReactJS & NextJS; YARN; Maven or Gradle; Docker; Dsgn & dvlp apps using AWS cloud svcs (API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, SES, SNS, s3, Secrets Mgr & EC2/ECS); RDBMS (MySql or PostgreSql); DynamoDB & DocumentDB; Exp must incl 2yrs.: CI/CD methodologies & Jenkins; JUnit, Mockito, TestNG & LambdaTest for tstng of apps; code analytics w/ SonarQube & Jacoco; APM tools (New Relic or Elastic APM), log aggregation tools (SumoLogic or Elk); AWS (Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail & Athena); dsgn s/w & prod security, troubleshoot of memory leaks & debugging of rsrce deadlocks; Exp. must incl 1yr.: performing s/w architecture anlss & leading POCs initiatives.
