Senior Engineer w/ Spotify USA, Inc. in NY, NY. Serve as a tech leader by implementing & driving implementation of: backend systems, data pipelines & infrastructure & tools that make up Spotify's data platform. Master's deg (U.S. or foreign equiva) in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, or a rel field & 3 ys of exp in job offered or in a rel role OR Bach deg (U.S. or foreign equiv) in Comp Sci, Comp Engg, or a rel field & 5 yrs of exp in job offered or in a rel role. Must have 3 yrs of exp (or 5 w/ Bach) w/: Java prog w/ a focus on hi-performance, multi-threaded, & networked apps, & Java frameworks & libraries for enterprise solutions; Scala for data pipelines, incl exp w/ functional prog paradigms; Go prog for writing highly efficient & concurrent backend services & Kubernetes operators; Design & implementation of resilient & scalable microservices architectures, w/ a focus on containerized environments & service orchestration; Architectural design & operational mgmt of distributed systems, w/ an emphasis on efficient data structures, concretely B-trees, hashmaps, bloom filters, & skip lists for optimizing data pipelines.
