Senior Systems Engineer (Bernstein Institutional Services LLC, New York, NY)

Develop and support various data and perform reporting and BI solution stacks. Produce new enhancements and production support of existing reporting and BI solutions. Perform full BI stack design including Data Visualization, Analytics, Reporting and databases. Monitor data quality metrics and exceptions. Work closely with various teams to monitor and improve data quality and reduce exceptions. Use strong communication skills (written and verbal) to collaborate with key business partners, operations, and technology to implement changes. Develop Clients P&L by analyzing costs, revenue, CRM, Research, Revenue and Expense data. Benchmark against external datasets such as McLagan and investor holdings database. Develop client facing research dashboards in partnership with Research department. Telecommuting permitted 2 days per week. When not telecommuting, must report to New York, NY office. Salary: $170,373-$185,000 per year.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Financial Engineering, Business Analytics, Mathematics, Information Process Management, or related field plus 5 years of professional experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or any occupation/position/job title involving Data Visualization.

Must also have experience in the following: 5 years of professional experience performing Data Visualization using Power BI and Tableau; 5 years of professional experience analyzing internal datasets including client interactions, research services engagement and client service intensity to develop succinct metrics; 5 years of professional experience implementing ETL solutions using SSIS; 5 years of professional experience developing client facing dashboards in Power BI or Tableau; 5 years of professional experience developing Client 360 scorecards and internal scorecards reports using Reporting Services (SSRS) and Python; 5 years of professional experience performing Data analysis using SQL and programming languages including Excel or Python; and 5 years of professional experience using Microsoft SQL Server.
