Summary

Prepare material estimates, labor estimates, and cost estimates, as well as complete pricing and cost benchmarking validations with the proper level of detail for all design stages, such as conceptual, schematic design, design development, and construction documents. 
Analyze documents, blueprints, and projects to determine which factors may influence project cost or potential setbacks, including detailed take-offs, and estimate costs of all materials, labor, and equipment.
Provide continuous evaluations of estimates to determine the potential risk, environmental impact, financial reductions, or budget cuts that may negatively impact the completion of the project to ensure it remains on time and within budget. 
Communicate to senior management, contractors, and vendors through presentations and reports recommending labor, equipment, and material cost and risk assessment for projects.&nbsp; 
Obtains accurate and up-to-date pricing information from databases, contractors, and suppliers to utilize in estimates.
Reviews inputted estimate take-off information in systems for specific disciplines to provide a check to assess accuracy and suitability for project type and specific project requirements.
Review and finalize estimated unit cost pricing to reflect current market conditions and specific project logistics.
Reviews historic benchmark cost information and highlights variances.
Works with architects and engineers to develop a clear understanding of project scope during estimate preparation. 
Supervises the development of conceptual and feasibility cost model estimates utilizing historic benchmarking information and industry experience to develop complete early-stage cost estimate forecasting. 
Provide training and development to entry-level estimators.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Construction or Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.&nbsp; 
Must have a minimum of fourteen (14) years of related experience.
Must include at least eight (8) years in a management or supervisory role and/or project manager role in a large, multi-faceted organization.

Qualifications:

<li>Ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours and work overnights 9PM - 6AM</li>
<li>Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating and placing products on shelf</li>
<li>Comfortable climbing ladders and working 20 feet off the ground as needed</li>
<li>Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.</li>
<li>Experience in using basic hand and power tools (must provide own hardhat, gloves, utility knife, and power tools)</li>
<li>Strong teamwork and communication skills</li>
<li>Knowledge/ability to use basic tools necessary for the job</li>
<li>Ability to work in Team environment</li>
<li>Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, </li>
<li>Personal cell is required and valid email address.</li>
<li>Professional appearance and demeanor</li>
<li>Appropriate work footwear is required to be worn on the jobsite</li>
