Works-in-Progress Associates (WPA) is currently seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team! This position is in-person, Monday-Friday, 6pm – 2am shift, working at Jacobi Medical Center, 1400 Pelham Pkwy South, Building 1, Bronx, NY 10461 with an anticipated duration of 6-8 months.
Scope of Work NYC H+H Jacobi Medical Center (JMC) is upgrading the entire fire alarm system throughout Building 1, meeting all code requirements. This includes complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system, removal of fire alarm panels, installation of new fire alarm devices, installing a post fire smoke purge system and pressurization system, installing a new Fire Alarm Command Center (FACC), and Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) upgrades throughout.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

<li>Daily coordination with Capital Projects team</li>
<li>Daily Construction oversight including maintenance of project records, evaluations of means and methods, and periodic inspections.</li>
<li>Cost Management</li>

**You may reside in Hamilton OR Syracuse. This project is brand new installations of basic plumbing and sanitary systems.
Responsibilities: • Work along side a crew of plumbers and apprentices on assigned projects. • Review and interpret blueprints, specifications, and project plans to ensure a thorough understanding of project scope, budget, and timeline. • Handle the installation of complex plumbing systems, including water supply, sanitary waste • Identify and troubleshoot plumbing problems, implementing effective solutions to maintain project deadlines and quality standards. • Maintain a strong work ethic, leading by example and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Qualifications: • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Plumber • Extensive experience in new construction of apartment complexes is a strong plus. • In-depth knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices. • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications. • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate effectively with a team. • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. • Valid driver's license.

Yard Assistant $17-$20 per hour 
Are you a self motivated hard worker?
The Yard Assistant is an integral member of our mulch service team, serving as a contact for mulch and propane customers. This is an entry level role and we are willing to train the right candidate. 
Responsibilities 
<ul>
<li>Assist all customers with propane sales including helping to load and unload tanks from cars </li>
<li> Properly handle all sales transactions of mulch and propane sales for drive in customers according to company policy</li>
<li> Reconciling sales at the end of every day with the appropriate administrative assistant </li>
<li>Ability to use or learn to use basic computer software</li>
<li> Keep both yards clean. This includes but is not limited to garbage, garbage cans, leaves and debris, vehicles that are blocking the right of way etc.</li>
<li> Assist Mechanics </li>
<li>Learn to safely operate basic construction equipment including but not limited to front end loaders and grinders</li>
<li> Load customers with mulch </li>
<li> Assist in grinding wood when not doing propane or other tasks according to priority assigned by manager </li>
<li>Wash Trucks </li>
</ul>
Requirements
<ul>
<li>Must be at least 18 years of age to operate propane</li>
<li>Customer oriented and good communication skills</li>
<li>A willingness to learn</li>
<li>Reliable and responsible</li>
<li>Valid Driver’s License required</li>
