Home Health Field Nurse Educator
A Home Health Field Nurse Educator is needed in Brooklyn, NY.

Salary and Benefits
- Salary range: $110,000 – $120,000 annually
- 25 PTO days in year one

Responsibilities
- Setting: Home Health, Field-based
- Design and develop educational programs aimed at improving clinical skills, patient outcomes, and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Evaluate and assess the educational needs of clinical staff working in the field, focusing on patient safety and care quality
- Collaborate with administration and the Clinical Nursing Supervisor to create training materials and resources tailored for field staff
- Facilitate field-based training: lead orientation, in-service sessions, and ongoing education for home health nurses and support staff
- Provide educational support for the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system in collaboration with the IT department, ensuring proper use in the field
- Monitor staff progress and performance in the field, maintain training records, and report on outcomes to ensure continuous improvement and policy compliance
- Stay informed on the latest trends and best practices in home health education through workshops, conferences, and continued learning
- Participate in the on-call supervisory rotation as needed
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree in a health-related field preferred
- Two years of home health and educational experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and EMR preferred - Homecare Homebase (HCHB)
