The facility located in New Rochelle, NY is seeking a Director of Activities to join its team of dedicated professionals.
This hands-on leadership role is responsible for the coordination and execution of recreational activities to meet the emotional, physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of residents.
Located within a well-appointed Facility known for its award winning care, this key position will have the opportunity to impact the results and outcomes of the facility, enjoy a quality of life in a professional and innovative setting, and be part of the team that leads the facility in achieving its recreational objectives to enrich the daily lives of residents.
Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher, and/or related license in the recreational field (CTRS, etc)
- 3+ years of relevant experience working in assisted living
- Demonstrated leadership experience; ability to manage teams and motivate staff
- Knowledgeable in Assisted Living regulations and operational requirements
- Strong communication and patient service skills; able to interact with, mediate, and proactively solve problems
