Our clients, some of NYC’s most prestigious hospital and healthcare systems, currently have numerous openings for Mammography Technologists ($68-$76/hour) at their locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn. This is a great opportunity to join a team of experienced professionals within a large organization with plenty of room for growth, while surrounded by great leadership who will ensure your success in this role!
This Mammography Technologist position is a contract role offering $68-$76/hour and flexible/varied full-time scheduling. You will be tasked with operating specialized equipment to create high-quality x-ray images of the breast for diagnostic and screening purposes. $3000 per week travel/stipend packages are available for travel candidates if temporary relocation is required. $500 referral reward available for successfully placed referrals who work 100+ hours.
Mammography Technologist Responsibilities Include:
- Operate specialized equipment to produce mammograms
- Explain procedures to patients, position them for imaging, and ensure patient comfort and well-being.
- Adjust settings, review images, and retake images as needed to ensure optimal quality for diagnosis.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care.
Mammography Technologist Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification (M)
- At least 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
