Summary
We are a small, nurturing preschool focused on providing a safe, joyous learning environment for children ages 2-5. We are seeking a compassionate Onsite Provider to join our team and support the growth, development and happiness of our children. In this role you will play a vital role in caring for and guiding children through their daily routines and learning activities.

Duties
Child Care Supervision:
- Supervise children during daily activities (e.g., play, mealtimes, naps) to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Provide emotional support and comfort as needed.
- Create a positive and engaging atmosphere for children to explore, learn, and grow.
Activity Planning:
- Implement and facilitate age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and physical development.
- Assist with indoor and outdoor playtime activities, art projects, and circle time.
- Tailor activities to suit a mixed-age group of children (ages 2-5).
Health Safety:
- Conduct daily health checks for children as they arrive and ensure a clean, safe environment.
- Administer first aid as necessary and follow health and safety protocols.
- Follow daycare guidelines regarding cleaning, sanitation, and overall facility maintenance.
Communication Collaboration:
- Communicate with parents about children's daily experiences, progress, and any concerns.
- Work collaboratively with other daycare providers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, health, and progress.
Other Duties:
- Assist with arrival and departure times, ensuring proper sign-in/sign-out of children.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Help with meal and snack preparation, as well as feeding when necessary.
- Support the Director with other duties as needed.
Requirements
Education:
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate credential or currently pursuing either with credits in Early Childhood
Experience:
- Previous experience in a daycare or childcare setting is preferred.
- Experience working with children ages 2-5 years old is a plus.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
Skills Traits:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with children, parents, and other staff members.
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
- Understanding of child development and age-appropriate practices.
- Positive, nurturing, collaborative attitude with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Ability to lift, bend and lift up to 30 lbs.
