We are seeking a dedicated Quality Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet quality standards and specifications. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Inspect in-process production by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to the production supervisor.
- Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs, summarizing re-work and waste, and inputting data into the quality database.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions and calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
- Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Essential Skills
- Prior inspection/quality assurance experience
- 6 months of warehouse experience
- Ability to read/write/speak English
- Ability to lift between 40-50 lbs
- Reliable transportation
- Data entry and data collection
- Basic math and computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Reporting and documentation skills
- Ability to read blueprints/drawings
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature controlled. The position is for the 1st shift, Monday-Thursday, from 5:30am-4:00pm. The role requires the ability to stand for 10-hour shifts and consistently lift 40-50 lbs. You will be part of a team dedicated to maintaining high-quality standards in a supportive and innovative atmosphere.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Liverpool, New York.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.75 - $17.00/hr.
