Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Full-time position
Description
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Building Engineer to oversee operations in a prestigious 10-story commercial property located near Yankee Stadium, directly across from the courthouse. This is a high-profile site catering to upscale tenants and clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, maintenance, and repairs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
- Schedule and execute preventative maintenance and inspections
- Respond to emergencies promptly and resolve tenant service requests efficiently
- Coordinate and supervise contractors as needed
- Manage supply inventory and assist with budgeting
- Lead and schedule building staff while ensuring high performance and accountability
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of building operations and systems maintenance experience
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read blueprints and manage multiple priorities
- High School Diploma or GED required
Certificates Required:
- FDNY Certificates: F89 (on-site after hiring), S13, and P99
Physical Requirements:
- Available for 24/7 on-call support
- Able to lift 50 lbs. and climb ladders
