- Reading, interpreting, and adhering to assembly instructions
- Picking and assembly of all required components into a metal enclosure with light wiring and subcomponent interconnection.
- All components should be securely mounted within the enclosure and all wiring should be clean and tidy per the established work instructions.
- Performing necessary tasks related to order fulfillment & document transactions appropriately within the ERP system (Data Works /SAP)
- Preparing materials for shipping by weighing, packaging, labeling, and preparing necessary shipping documentation, such as: bills of lading, packing lists, & commercial invoices.
- Coordinating pickup and delivery of material with service providers.
- Performing cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Maintenance of the lab area and its dependent equipment to promote a safe and efficient workplace
- Each kit weighs roughly 15 pounds once complete so it is required to be able to safely lift and maneuver up to 30 pounds unassisted
- Strong understanding and adherence to EH&S and Quality standards and processes.
- Ability to self-manage and report efficiently in regular status updates
- Experience with Microsoft Excel, Teams, Outlook
- Experience interfacing with Enterprise ERP systems
- Experience working with electrical and/or mechanical components
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods.
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency in completing job tasks
- Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods.
- Ability to maintain a friendly, professional attitude with customers, colleagues, and any other points of contact
- Ability to have the foresight to understand what materials will be needed to maintain ongoing continuity of the kitting operations and to also ensure that daily outputs are exceeding 18 kits per day
- Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed based upon required outputs
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years direct experience in manufacturing assembly &/or electrical assembly preferred
- Valid NYS Driver’s License
