Job Details:

We are currently seeking a dynamic HR individual with a passion for learning and development to join our team in the commercial cleaning industry. This is a permanent role that will play a critical part in shaping our organizational culture, fostering employee growth, and driving business success. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of learning and development strategies and best practices, with a particular focus on the construction industry. This role requires a proactive and innovative professional who can design, implement, and evaluate learning and development programs that align with our organizational goals and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implement comprehensive learning and development programs tailored to the needs of our employees and the construction industry.
2. Utilize learning management systems such as Absorb and iSolved to deliver, track, and report on training initiatives.
3. Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, both in-person and virtually, ensuring an engaging and interactive learning environment.
4. Manage onboarding programs for new hires, providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to succeed in their roles.
5. Collaborate with management and HR to identify skill gaps, training needs, and opportunities for employee development.
6. Leverage HRIS platforms such as Bamboo and Workday for efficient administration of learning and development initiatives.
7. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development programs, making necessary adjustments to enhance their impact and ROI.
8. Stay abreast of the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in learning and development, particularly in the construction industry.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in learning and development, preferably in the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) such as Absorb and iSolved.
4. Experience with HRIS platforms such as Bamboo and Workday.
5. Proven experience in facilitating training sessions and managing onboarding programs.
6. Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design methodologies.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire learners.
8. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
9. Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) or other relevant certification is a plus.
10. A self-starter with a strong drive for results and continuous improvement.
