Job Description
The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of facilities and ensuring a safe, functional, and efficient environment. This role involves performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment and systems, coordinating with contractors, and reviewing work completed by contractors.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and systems effectively.
- Coordinate with contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Review and ensure the quality of work completed by contractors.
- Maintain the physical integrity of facilities to ensure safety and functionality.
Essential Skills
- 5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, preferably in a facilities management setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and perform repairs effectively.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems is a plus.

Work Environment
The work environment includes both climate-controlled and non-climate-controlled areas within an industrial setting. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be required to work in various parts of the building, ensuring comfort and safety in all conditions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
