Manufacturing Associate - Contract

Location: Pearl River, NY
Pay Rate: $24-$25.60/hr. (based on experience, education, and location)
Type: Temp-to-Hire (Potential for Overtime)

About Us:
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for our pharmaceutical partner in Pearl River, NY. This role focuses on producing Flublok Drug Substance within a cGMP commercial manufacturing facility, specifically in media, buffer, and solution preparation areas.

Position Overview:
Operate general manufacturing equipment under close supervision, following quality standards, safety guidelines, and standardized procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate, maintain, clean, and sanitize media and buffer preparation equipment

• Clean and prepare workspaces and biosafety cabinets

• Apply aseptic techniques and perform preventive maintenance

• Troubleshoot issues in media, buffer, and solution preparation areas

• Support cross-training and flex area operations

Responsibilities:

• Execute media, buffer, and solution formulation

• Prepare equipment (CIP and SIP)

• Use raw materials and components (FIFO)

• Weigh, dispense, and sample materials for testing

• Conduct filter integrity testing

• Operate ancillary equipment (pH/conductivity meters, osmometers, tube welders, tube sealers, peristaltic pumps)

• Collaborate with other departments to resolve quality issues

• Manage and analyze manufacturing data

• Ensure compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP)

• Complete required cGMP training

• Participate in facility cleaning per SOPs

• Follow SOPs for material, personnel, and equipment flow

• Work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays

• Assist Compliance teams with deviation notifications, CAPAs, and investigations

Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 2+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience or relevant training

• Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, and SOPs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic understanding of BEVS manufacturing process (preferred but not required)

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $25.60 per hour
