CNC Blanking Set-up/Operator - 2nd Shift

Job DescriptionJob Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled CNC Blanking Set-up/Operator to join our team! This position involves all phases of the laser turret combo operation, including tool building, repair, set-up and operation to complete sheet metal production per work instructions/blueprint specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Refers to production control document/blueprint for job specifics.
- Builds and repairs tools per job specifications.
- Sets up machine to run job.
- Installs and removes required tools for job.
- Loads sheet metal on machine.
- Runs program and observes operation.
- May make minor adjustments in the computer program as necessary.
- Unloads finished pieces and inspects per specifications of job.
- De-burrs and buffs pieces as needed.
- Assists with other duties as assigned by supervisor/ manager.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- One-year certificate from college or technical school preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2-3 years related experience or training.
- Ability to use a computer for operation purposes as well as understand use of CNC machine controller.
- Ability to use calipers and micrometers, hand jacks and grinders.
- Ability to read blueprints.
- Knowledge of CNC.
- Ability to program is a plus.
Hours:
- 2nd Shift
- Full Time - 40 hours per week
- Monday - Friday
