Job Summary: Full-Time Telecom Coordinator at our NYC Central Office. The Telecom Coordinator will support and maintain the telecommunications systems across our network of offices, ensuring efficient communication and high-quality service for patients and staff.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm

Travel: While primarily a remote position, employee is required to attend monthly in office cadence. From time to time, additional in-person team meetings may be required as well.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage daily operations of telecommunications systems, including phone setups, call routing configurations, and call recording settings.
    • Troubleshoot telecom issues, coordinating with vendors and IT to resolve system outages and errors efficiently.
    • Oversee telecom equipment distribution and setup, ensuring offices have functional devices and hotline support for urgent patient calls.
    • Provide user support and training materials for office staff on telecom systems, particularly during new office integrations.
    • Maintain documentation of telecom systems, configurations, and troubleshooting logs; generate reports on call volumes, performance, and service quality.
    • Collaborate on telecom projects, including system upgrades, office integrations, and call routing improvements.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor on an as needed basis.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with telecom hardware, VoIP systems, and call center routing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to take instruction and follow procedures accurately, with attention to detail
  • Able to communicate effectively with individuals at all skill levels, explaining issues and solutions clearly without relying on technical jargon
  • Relevant work experience
  • College Degree
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA & OSHA compliance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant experience in telecom systems
  • Experience in healthcare or a similar regulated environment
  • Prior experience with telecom platforms such as BroadSoft and NICE inContact
  • Familiarity with network troubleshooting and telecom provider coordination
  • Adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting
  • Skilled in accurately handling repetitive system inputs and updates, with an understanding of the underlying information to ensure data integrity and accuracy

Hourly Pay Range$24—$26 USD
