Babbitting Service, Inc - East an Engineered Bearing Solutions Division is looking to fill the role of a skilled CNC Mill Machinist at our Wellsville, NY facility. As a premier producer of babbitt-lined bearings and related components for several OEM’s as well as aftermarket and direct sales, BSI has a very diverse and steady customer base. BSI East is a job shop, prototype & R&D manufacturing facility and parts can range from simple to highly complex with low quantity requirements varying from 1 or 2, to 20 or more per lot. This type of manufacturing requires quick set-ups, precision execution, and attention to detail for success.

Requirements:

• Familiar with the basic use of Haas CNC Mill controls for programming at the machine tool.
• Read and understand the basics of G-Code programming.
• Able to read and comprehend manufacturing drawings.
• Able to load tools, set offsets, set up vices, do basic vice jaw cutting and run parts complete.
• Familiar with and use all basic precision measuring equipment including micrometers, vernier calipers, depth mics, etc.
• Multi-task and run multiple machine tools when the situations call for it.
