We are seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience setting up, running, and monitoring CNC mills, lathes, Mazak machining centers, and other machinery and tools to machine parts to specification.

This is a fulltime 2nd shift position working Monday through Friday from 2:00pm until 10:30pm. We offer competitive pay, health and dental insurance, paid company holidays, paid time off, and a 401K retirement plan.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform machine setup and hands-on machining of AM parts using CNC milling machines and lathes and other machines and equipment, program computers or electronic instruments.
  • Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate parts.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines and related equipment to include choosing and loading appropriate tools and fixtures. Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.
  • Run programs, perform measurements, and make adjustments as necessary to meet specifications and standards. Diagnose machine tool malfunctions to determine need for adjustments or repairs.
  • Read blueprints, CAD files, or other instructional documents s to achieve required dimensional accuracy. Calculate dimensions or tolerances using instruments such as micrometers or vernier calipers.
  • Track time and job status. Sign in and out to record machine activity.
  • Review and requisition tooling required for jobs.
  • Measure, examine, or test completed units to check for defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
  • Inspect work and perform quality checks in collaboration with quality inspectors; record data per inspection plans as required.
  • Evaluate machining procedures and recommend changes or modifications for improved efficiency or adaptability.

Qualifications:

High school diploma and a minimum of 4 years’ experience with HAAS or similar Lathes and Machining Centers; ability to read blueprints, use basic measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers, and digital indicators etc.), basic computers skills, understanding of basic math, sound problem solving skills, strong eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity, working knowledge of G-Code and GD&T, and strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
