Key Responsibilities

Hello! Kelly Services, in collaboration with a leading company in the pharmaceutical industry, is seeking a&nbsp;Production Operations Specialist&nbsp;in the&nbsp;Syracuse, NY&nbsp;area.
This is a direct hire opportunity, meaning you will be hired permanently with our client and offered their benefit and vacation package upon hire!&nbsp; Salary:

<li>$25 - $28+/hr (depending on experience)</li>
</ul>
 Shift:
<ul>
<li>1st shift: Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri | 6:00am-4:30pm</li>
<li>2nd shift: Mon – Thurs or Tues – Fri | 11:00am-9:30pm (flexible)</li>
<li>3rd shift: Sun – Wed or Mon – Thurs | 8:00pm-6:30am</li>

 Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Operate technically sophisticated equipment through HMIs.</li>
<li>Performs machine set-up, operation, and troubleshooting on various pieces of packaging equipment.</li>
<li>Diagnose and repair issues with mechanical and electrical operations of equipment.</li>
<li>Set-up, monitor, adjust, and program packaging equipment within approved procedural and GMP guidelines.</li>
<li>Clean work area and equipment with various cleaning aids such as wipes, brooms/mops following standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain documentation of inspections and cleaning including logbooks and batch record documents.</li>
<li>Analyze conditions/issues using analytical skills to develop a solution.</li>
<li>Assists management with data analysis, report writing, investigations, and other tasks as assigned.</li>
<li>Assist in team development by training, mentoring, coaching.</li>
<li>Candidates should be mechanically inclined self-starters with a strong attention to detail and must be available for overtime and/or additional days per week.</li>
</ul>
 Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Knowledge of contemporary electrical and mechanical technologies and packaging.</li>
<li>Knowledge of production maintenance practices and procedures.</li>
<li>Knowledge and skill in operating various specialized equipment.</li>
<li>Knowledge and skill in interpersonal communications including coaching, counseling, and providing leadership to team.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, coworkers, and other individuals.</li>
<li>Demonstrates flexible and efficient time management and ability to prioritize workload.</li>
<li>Ability to pay close attention to detail and coordinate various activities simultaneously.</li>
