THE OPPORTUNITY
The Center is seeking an experienced and innovative Chief Research Officer (CRO) to lead and expand multiple research teams in evaluating the Center’s work and advancing cutting-edge research initiatives aimed at promoting safety and racial justice—in partnership with communities, legal systems, and the people most impacted. The ideal candidate will have deep methodological expertise, a background in securing funding from government and philanthropic sources, experience conducting research on criminal justice and/or community safety topics, and a passion for translating research into action. Additionally, the candidate should possess a foundation that enables them to effectively lead research and analytics teams, build data and research capacity, and drive evidence-based decision-making to enhance the overall impact of the Center’s work.&nbsp;
As a member of the Center’s executive team, the CRO will report directly to the Managing Director of National Initiatives and Research and be responsible for setting the Center’s research agenda and working with organizational leaders to expand and integrate the use of research and data in all aspects of CJI, including the operating programs and policy and expert assistance. The Senior Directors of the Center’s Data Analytics and Applied Research (DAAR) and National Research departments will report to the CRO. About the Role:
You will be responsible for leading analytics and survey research on Applecart's client services team for some of the country's most prominent corporations, trade associations, and political campaigns. In this position, you will work with and manage talented data analysts and work with campaign and digital advertising strategists and project managers to translate data science and analytics into actionable strategies and paid communications plans in terms non-technical clients understand. This role will report to Applecart's President.
What You'll Do:

<li>Serve as technical lead and project manager on complex analytics projects</li>
<li>Make key methodological decisions within client projects to inform the optimal development of survey instruments and use of custom microtargeting products (e.g. audiences, models) </li>

Compensation:
Our compensation package consists of three components: (i) a base salary, (ii) annual cash bonus, and (iii) generous equity compensation.

The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of process engineering in the development and scale-up of Cresilon's hemostatic medical devices. This includes but is not limited to, directing all process development, process scale-up, tech transfers, process validations, process improvements, and process implementation with Cresilon's internal manufacturing facilities, and at CDMOs. Job Responsibilities:
