Director of the Newburgh Performing Arts Academy
The Newburgh Performing Arts Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Director to lead our vibrant, pre-professional school of the arts. Our Academy provides high-quality instruction in dance, music, theater, and visual arts to youth ages 3-19, and adults, while also offering community arts programs in partnership with schools and other organizations.
Position Overview:
The Director will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Academy, ensuring that all programs run smoothly, efficiently, and in alignment with our mission to inspire and nurture creativity in youth. This role includes overseeing staff, coordinating curriculum development, managing budgets, and fostering relationships with students, parents, faculty, and community partners.
Key Responsibilities:

<li>Oversee the administration of all programs, including dance, music, theater, and visual arts for youth ages 3-19</li>
<li>Develop and maintain community arts programs in collaboration with local schools and community organizations</li>
<li>Supervise and support a team of teaching artists, administrative staff, and volunteers</li>
